Emergency Communications

RFDS (Western Operations) has staff on duty around the
clock to assist you in an emergency.  You can call us either by telephone or, if you are are outside telephone coverage, via our high frequency communications network.

Our emergency telephone number 1800 625 800 is available anywhere in Australia from all fixed and mobile telephones, and from most satellite telephones.  

• Some satphone service providers do not support 1800 numbers.  If you are experiencing difficulties, please call us on 08 94176389, or 61 8 94176389.  Please note that your carrier’s normal call charges will apply if these numbers are used.
